We all carry dreams in our hearts, and with them, a certain timeline in our minds. We say to ourselves: by this age I will be here or by next year I will have achieved this. Then life steps in with its own timing, and the pause button is pressed.
The pause can feel frustrating. You watch others move forward while you wait, and questions begin to creep in. Why not now? Why not me? Yet pauses are rarely empty. Often, they are filled with lessons you cannot see until you look back. They strengthen you, prepare you, and sometimes even protect you from things you are not ready for.
There are seasons when waiting feels like loss, but it is in those same seasons that you grow in ways rushing never allows. You learn patience. You learn to trust that some things are worth the delay. You begin to see that the journey matters as much as the destination.
If you are in a pause right now, remember that life is still moving, even if it feels slow. The pause is not your ending, it is part of the story that will one day make the arrival even sweeter.
Keep going and do not give up.
